KiCad Project Community Donation Terms
Eligibility
- All registered users of the KiCad Project Community are eligible to participate.
- Each project must be an original creation by the user or a derivative work that complies with open-source licenses.
Project Requirements
- Schematic (.kicad_sch) & PCB Layout (.kicad_pcb)
- BOM files
- Clear project name & description
- At least one PCB render or photo
- Open-source license
Donation Rule
- For each approved project, NextPCB will donate US$10 in the user's name to KiCad.
- Each user can receive a maximum donation of US$50 per month.
Important Rules
- NextPCB will settle donations with KiCad at the end of each month. All donation records will be updated in real-time on KiCad Projects website.
- The voluntary removal of an approved project will impact eligibility for subsequent donations.
- All projects must be original. NextPCB will remove copied or reuploaded projects and revoke donations.
- NextPCB reserves the right to adjust the activity rules and final interpretation. Any changes will be announced in advance.
